STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say that a man walking out of a Stockton business was attacked and robbed late Saturday night.

According to the Stockton Police Department, a 37-year-old man was walking out of a store along the 600 block of N. Wilson Way when some suspects snuck up behind him. Police say the suspects ambushed the man first by punching him, then by spraying him with pepper spray.

The suspects then stole the food the man had just bought and his money. They then ran away.

It is unclear how many suspects attacked the man, and only a vague description was given to police.
