Body Found After Fire At Plant Nursery Near Vacaville
SOLANO COUNTY (CBS13) – Vacaville Fire confirms that a body has been found in a structure that burned at the Mercier Grapevine Nursery Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene along Pleasants Valley Road early Wednesday morning to put out a 2-alarm fire. It was when firefighters were dealing with hotspots when the body was discovered.
The body's gender, age or race has not been determined.
Arson investigators and homicide detectives are investigating the case.
Authorities say that they are asking employees not to talk to each other as the investigation is going on.
The fire was contained to just the back of the property, but a tractor shed, storage pallets and plastic bins caught fire in the blaze.
