The Grant Napear Show - July 24, 2014

On today’s show Grant discussed the recent news of Ray Rice being suspended only 2 games by the NFL for the aggravated assault charges against his wife.

Grant would go on to do his weekly, “Rounding the bases” segment where he covered the state of Major League Baseball and the teams to watch out for, including discussing the upcoming key match up between the Giants and Dodgers.

Later on in the 4 o’ clock hour, Grant interviewed Sacramento Bee writer and columnist Ryan Lillis about the news to begin building on the new arena in Downtown Sac.

Grant also interviewed Kings Head Coach Michael Malone later in the show to discuss the Kings Summer League Championship and the recent arrival of such young players like Eric Moreland and Ray Mccallum.

In his rant for the day, Grant was more than appalled at the NFL’s decision to suspend Ray Rice for a mere 2 games and was very angry/irate about the situation.
