Kings Start 30th Season On Oct.29

The Sacramento Kings will start their 30th season in Sacramento on October 29th when they take on the Golden State Warriors. The Kings will play on National TV seven times including twice on TNT, once on ESPN and four times on NBA TV.

Here's the list of the top five games of the 2014-15 season (besides opening night):

5. November 11th, 2014-Kings @ Dallas-Remember the good ol' days when the Kings would take it to Nellie's Mavericks in the playoffs?

Sacramento has not won in Dallas since February 27, 2003.  I was a freshman in high school the last time the Kings won in Dallas. Jennifer Lopez and LL Cool J had a number one song the last time the Kings won in Dallas:

The Kings almost ended the streak last season including their final meeting in March when Ray McCallum played all 48 minutes in a 103-100 loss.

Early prediction: The Kings conquer the streak!

4. January 17th, 2015- Kings host Flop City Clippers-  It's the Clippers first visit of the season and I love this matchup because you get the sense that the teams don't like each other.  The Clippers may be the most hated team in the NBA and the Kings and Clips had some great games last season. Unfortunately the teams met three times in the FIRST month of the season.

You can tell Boogie Cousins gets extra fired up for games against the Clippers. Cousins told Bill Simmons over the offseason: "I dislike CP a lot."

Cousins has also taken issue with Blake's flopping. "I guess the wind from my hand hit him in the eye and I guess he got fouled by the wind," Cousins said after a game in April 2012.

Get ready for lobs, flops and some chippiness. Bring on the Clips!

3. December 21st, 2014-Kobe's Return To Sacramento: Kobe Bryant played in six games last season so we haven't seen the "Kings Killer" in Sacramento since March 30, 2013 when he finished with 19 points, 14 assists (!!) and nine rebounds in a 103-98 Lakers win.

Bryant is one of the biggest villains for Kings fans but he gave Sacramento plenty of love in 2013 when many people around the league thought the Kings would be moving to Seattle. "I predict we'll be back here," Bryant said. "You guys have been saying the same (thing) for three years."

Kobe's career is definitely winding down but you know a couple of things when he comes to town: Kings fans will even more fired up and Bryant will put on a show.

2. January 11th, 2015-LeBron's One Night Show: There's always a buzz when the greatest player on the planet comes to town to make his only appearance of the season.

This will be the only chance to see LeBron back in Cavs uniform and a new trio of LeBron, Kyrie and Love.

I'll never forget being in the building when he dropped 51 points on the Kings in March 2009.

1. December 26, 2014-Kings vs. Suns-It'll be an electric atmosphere as former Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas will be in the house with his new team.

What will Isaiah do against the Kings? "I always will love Sacramento, but when we play them I'm going to kill Sacramento," Thomas said in an interview with SacTownRoyalty.

Over/Under-24 points for Isaiah Thomas. I'll take the under and a Kings win.
