Police Looking For Vehicle Of Interest In Lodi Murder

LODI (CBS13) – Police are investigating the murder of a Lodi woman who was found fatally injured Friday morning.

According to the Lodi Police Department, officers were alerted by a passer-by near Central Avenue and Vine Street around 5:47 a.m. about a woman bleeding from her upper body. The caller reported that the woman had flagged him down.

Once at the scene, officers found that the woman had multiple puncture wounds to her body.

The woman – who has only been identified as a 33-year-old Lodi resident – was soon taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the woman was the victim of domestic violence. Police are looking for a vehicle of interest in the case – a 1995 burgundy or maroon Honda Accord with the California plate number 7CCZ084.
