Body Found In Canal Near Tracy
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say that a body was found in a canal near Tracy Wednesday.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, a dive team found the body floating against the water flow control gates about two miles downstream from Tracy Boulevard. The body was then pulled to shore by the team.
Detectives believe the body had been in the water for days.
The person has not been identified. An autopsy to determine the person's cause of death is pending, detectives note.
