3 Reasons To Be Excited About the NBA Season

1. LeBron James is back home.

LeBron announcing his return to Cleveland was one of the most highly anticipated decisions in sports history.

Watching this athlete mature and grow throughout his NBA career on and off the court has been one thing, now seeing him try and bring a championship back to Ohio, the place he grew up, with the franchise adding the pieces they did around him going into this season is something to be excited about.

2. The Spurs are like a fine wine, they just keep getting better with age.

Any true basketball fan can appreciate the product the San Antonio Spurs put on the basketball court, they play real, fundamental, old school ball that does not exist consistently throughout the league.

The Spurs are looking for a repeat and with everyone from head coach Gregg Popovich, to future Hall of Famer, Tim Duncan getting older their time is running out. This season it will be fascinating to see if they can win another ring.

3. Kobe Bryant's Comeback

The Black Mamba missed almost all of last season last season and has limited pieces around him going into this season with the Los Angles Lakers.

He averaged 19 points, four assists over 26.7 minutes in six exhibition games this preseason. With Steve Nash out due to a back injury, it will be interesting to see if he Kobe can carry this Lakers team on his back.
