Roseville Police Officer Accused Of Threatening Wife, Brandishing Gun
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A Roseville police officer was arrested while off-duty on suspicion of making criminal threats against his wife.
According to the Roseville Police Department, a woman called 911 just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to report that her husband was threatening to harm her and that he had pulled out a gun.
Officers soon arrived at the home and investigated the incident, eventually arresting off-duty Roseville Police Office Jude Michael Chabot.
Police note that no one was hurt in the incident.
Chabot, 30, is now facing charges of making criminal threats and brandishing a firearm.
Police note that they will be conducting an internal investigation. Chabot, who was booked at Placer County Jail but has since posted his $25,000 bond, has been put on paid administrative leave.
