Teens Arrested For South Sacramento Home Invasion Robbery

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two suspects; twenty victims – and Sacramento Police say the armed teens accused in this home invasion were still there when officers arrived.

Neighbors who did not want to be identified are saying the neighborhood has gone downhill over the years.

"I worry because sometimes we have our granddaughter here. You know, it is scary," the neighbor said.

This homeowner says this isn't the first time they've seen police in their neighborhood. But this time, the crime has really put them on edge.

"My wife woke me up, it was about 4 o'clock in the morning. She told me there's all kinds of lights going off," he said.

Police say they were called out to the 6800 block of 27th Street early Saturday morning because of a home invasion.

"Everybody's scared and nobody wants to turn anybody in because they're scared they're going to get shot," the neighbor said.

Police say two teens – 19-year-old Ricky Lor and his alleged 15-year-old accomplice – broke into a home where at least 20 people were gathering for a party.

It's unknown if the suspects chose that home for that reason.

The victims called police and that's when the suspects took off, leading officers on a chase through the neighborhood.

"They could have been in our backyard, it could have been anybody's backyard," the neighbor said.

Police say they quickly tracked down one suspect and used a K9 officer to find the other.

"I saw the cops at the certain house and that house, they were there before awhile back," the neighbor said.

CBS13 stopped by the house where the neighbor says 20 people became victims of a home invasion, but no one wanted to come to the door.

Police say it's too early in the investigation to know if the victims knew the suspects. Police have not ruled out the possibility that the suspects could be involved in other home robberies.
