James Corden To Make First Visit To 'Late Show with David Letterman'

NEW YORK (CBS) -- James Corden makes an early visit to CBS late night when he appears for the first time on the "Late Show with David Letterman," on Friday, Nov. 21 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT). 

As previously announced, the 36-year-old Corden will make his debut as host of "The Late Late Show" on Monday, March 9, 2015 (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT). Corden succeeds Craig Ferguson, the critically acclaimed host of "The Late Late Show" for the past 10 years. Ferguson announced his intention to leave the show during his April 28 broadcast, and will sign off on Dec. 19, 2014. Guest for Ferguson's final shows were announced earlier this month including, Don Cheadle, Carrie Fisher, Jon Hamm, Lisa Kudrow, Jim Parsons and Michael Sheen, with Jay Leno being his final guest. 

The Tony Award and BAFTA-winning Corden stars in the highly anticipated feature film “Into the Woods,” which will premiere in theaters Dec. 25. 

Also featured on the "Late Show" Friday, Nov. 21 are legendary television producer Norman Lear, author of the new memoir Even This I Get to Experience, and a performance by musical guests TV on the Radio.
