Davis Police: Felon Had Loaded Firearms

DAVIS (CBS13) – Police say that officers serving a search warrant found loaded guns in the possession of a convicted felon.

The search warrants were conducted on Friday, according to the Davis Police Department. Detectives and officers from the department's S.A.F.E. Unit hit residences along L Street in Davis and Reddick Road in Dixon.

Police say that meth and loaded firearms were recovered during the search warrants.

Davis resident Raymond Cooper, 43, was arrested as a result of the search warrants. He is facing charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of meth and child endangerment.
