Firefighter Charged With Killing Lover's Husband

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) - A Southern California firefighter has pleaded not guilty to charges that he killed his lover's husband.

Jonathan Michael Hearn, 24, of Hesperia pleaded not guilty to murder Thursday in Kern County Superior Court in the killing of Robert Limon in August.

Sheriff's deputies say Hearn and Sabrina Limon conspired to kill her husband, but prosecutors say there is insufficient evidence to charge her.

Limon, 38, was shot multiple times Aug. 17 inside a BNSF Railway shop in Tehachapi.

Hearn faces additional allegations of lying in wait and using a firearm during the killing.

Detectives are still searching for a man seen in surveillance video from the crime scene.

BNSF has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Limon's killer.
