Third Suspect Arrested In Connection With Fatal Stabbing

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - A third and final suspect in a deadly stabbing last week in Sacramento County has surrendered to authorities.

Monterio Maurice Roberts, 42, went to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department Monday evening in response to a warrant issued for his arrest in connection with the stabbing death of Edward White, 35, in the 8100 block of Stevenson Avenue on Sunday, November 16, according to sheriff's department statement.

Monica Njoku, 44, and Taiish Simon, 38, were arrested the day after the stabbing on homicide charges for their alleged involvement.

Deputies say the incident started as a landlord/tenant issue. The victim reportedly knew the suspects.
