Protesters Spill Onto I-5 In Sacramento, Blocking Traffic
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A group of demonstrators caused some traffic trouble for drivers in downtown Sacramento on Thursday night.
The group got onto Interstate 5, forcing CHP officers to shut the freeway down to traffic until the group left the freeway.
Tonight's demonstration is believed to be part of a bigger day of protesting across the country in response to a grand jury's decision not to indict a New York City police officer for the apparent chokehold death of Eric Garner.
