Report Of Gun Brought To Campus Puts Vacaville High School On Lockdown

10:15 a.m. Update: Police say the lockdown has now been lifted and classes are being resumed.

Officers went class to class and interviewed students, but no suspects or a gun was found.

Any parents who want to pick up their children are asked go to the Tom Zunino Football stadium to do so, police say.

VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Vacaville High School is on lockdown as police investigate an allegation that a student brought a weapon to school.

The school went on lockdown Friday morning after a student allegedly overheard another student say that he had brought a handgun, Vacaville Police say.

Officers are at the school as a precaution and are investigating the credibility of the threat.

Police are asking parents to not come to the school.
