No. 17 Oregon State Beats Sacramento State Basketball 109-61

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Deven Hunter had 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists, and No. 17 Oregon State broke the school record for assists in a 109-61 victory over Sacramento State on Saturday.

Oregon State (7-0) shot 57.1 percent from the field with assists on 40 of its 45 made field goals. The previous record was 34, set against Pacific Christian on Jan. 9, 1982.

Ruth Hamblin had a double-double at the break and finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. The Beavers led 60-23 at halftime on the way to their 14th straight home win.

Sydney Wiese had 17 points with seven assists and 5-of-6 shooting from 3-point range. Jamie Weisner scored 16, Kolbie Orum added 11 and Ali Gibson 10.

Hallie Gennett led Sacramento State (1-6) with 19 points and Fantasia Hilliard added 10. The Hornets shot only 11 of 49 from 3-point range and 20 of 86 overall.
