Fairfield Couple Weds In Parking Lot Before Raiders-49ers Game
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (AP) - She roots for the San Francisco 49ers. He's a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan. Nonetheless, they are still in love and will wed in the parking lot of the Oakland Raiders' stadium before the Battle of the Bay Area game with the 49ers.
The Fairfield Daily Republic reported Sunday that Sean Rentschler and Shawndra Nevins are tying the knot in front of family and friends. The bride plans to wear a replica jersey of Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The groom will be decked out in the Raiders' silver and black. The reception will be held in the stands during the game.
The Fairfield, California couple met 16 years ago through mutual friends.
