Stevie Wonder To Be Honored With All-Star GRAMMY Salute

Shortly after the 57th GRAMMYs wrap up, the GRAMMY Awards will salute one of its frequent winners.

A primetime special honoring Stevie Wonder will be held this February on CBS. Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star GRAMMY Salute will be taped Feb. 10, two days after the 57th GRAMMYs, followed by a broadcast Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

The two-hour tribute will feature multiple musicians honoring the 25-time GRAMMY winner, with additional presenters helping highlight Wonder's achievements over his multi-decade career. The performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

“Stevie Wonder is a beloved icon whose golden songbook remains one of America’s and music’s greatest treasures,” Neil Portnow, president/CEO of The Recording Academy, said of the ceremony. “A 25-time GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, it’s only fitting that Music’s Biggest Night celebrates this legendary musical genius and pays tribute to his enduring music and legacy.”

Earlier this year, the GRAMMYs put on a similar salute, that time for the Beatles.

Tickets for the show, held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, will go on sale Dec. 18 on AXS.com.
