North Highlands Apartment Complex Shooting Victim Identified

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) - Authorities have identified a 20-year-old man who was shot and killed in North Highlands last week.

Last Tuesday night, Draven Rafferty, 20, was standing with a group of men at an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Walerga Road when gunfire broke out. Rafferty was shot and died, according to Sgt. Lisa Bowman, a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Detectives arrested a 13-year-old boy on voluntary manslaughter, robbery and three counts of attempted robbery charges in connection to the incident. He was booked at the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility.
