Man Posing As Sheriff's Deputy As Part Of Yolo County Scam
YOLO COUNTY (CBS13) — A man is posing as a sheriff's deputy and attempting to scam people, the Yolo County Sheriff's Office said on Monday.
Deputies say the man calls himself Lt. Michael Braton, and he's telling people they have an emergency and must call back.
The sheriff's office says don't call back, and instead call their non-emergency line at (530) 668-5280.
