3 Arrested For String Of Home Invasion Robberies In Antelope

ANTELOPE (CBS13) – Detectives say they have arrested three young men in connection two a series of home invasion robberies.

Anthony Maurice Cotton and Latrale Dupree Way, both 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old boy are being linked by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department to the Antelope-area robberies, which happened in mid-summer last year.

Detectives say the suspects would often get into people's homes through open garage doors. The suspects reportedly injured people in some incidents.

"The arrests of these violent criminals puts to rest any concerns that another innocent Antelope family might become their next victim; no community should live that way," said Supervisor Roberta MacGlashan in a release.

Cotton and Way are also being linked to the kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman in the same area, detectives note.

A fourth suspect is still wanted in connection to the home invasion robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department at (916) 443-HELP.
