Man, 33, Fatally Shot In Stockton
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a 33-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Stockton in early Saturday afternoon.
According to the Stockton Police Department, a report of shots fired was reported near Jefferson and Madison Streets just before 1 p.m. A few minutes later, police got another report that a silver Honda Civic had crashed through a fence near Jefferson and Monroe Streets.
Officers who soon arrived at the scene and found a 33-year-old man inside the car had been shot. Police say he suffered at least one gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital but he was later pronounced dead, police say.
Detectives are interviewing potential witnesses but they have not identified a motive or any possible suspects.
