ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — The wizarding world’s favorite game came to Roseville this weekend.
Nearly two-dozen teams competed in the Western Regional Quidditch Championships at Maidu Regional Park.
This weekend’s winning teams will compete to qualify for the Quidditch World Cup in April. Organizers say they love bringing the competition to Roseville.
Quidditch is a sport from the Harry Potter book series where witches and wizards fly around on broomsticks. The non-magical version requires a lot of running.
