UPDATE: Man Allegedly Shot By Neighbor In Isleton Dies Of Injuries

7 p.m. UPDATE: Sacramento County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Bowman says the victim, a man in his 70s, has died from his injuries.

ISLETON (CBS13) — A man was shot inside his home by his neighbor, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said on Sunday.

The shooting happened on the 600 block of Tyler Island Bridge Road. Deputies say the man's wife was woken from sleep by the gunshots inside another room in the home.

Her husband was lifeflighted, and his condition is unknown at this time.

While they don't have a motive for the shooting, deputies are searching for a neighbor who they believe is responsible
