Finding Apartments Near UC Davis Harder With Fewer Vacancies, Higher Rent
DAVIS (CBS13) — It's getting harder and more expensive for UC Davis students to find apartments now.
A recent survey finds apartment vacancies near campus are down and rents are static or slightly higher.
According to real-estate consulting firm Bae Urban Economics, there are only 24 vacant apartments close to campus available right now compared to 160 last year.
The Associated Students of UC Davis will host an annual housing day on Feb. 24 to help students find off-campus housing for the following year.
