Modesto Man, Woman Arrested In Connection With 2014 Turlock Homicide
TURLOCK (CBS13) — Nearly a year to the day, two people have been arrested in a Turlock rest stop homicide.
Christina Cardoza, 41, was found dead at a Highway 99 rest stop on Feb. 26, 2014. An autopsy showed she had died from blunt-force trauma to her upper body.
Stanislaus County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Bryan Dean Small, 42, for homicide and Cheryl Ruth Liberty, 65, for accessory. Detectives believe Small killed Cardoza, and Liberty helped him after the victim's death.
