Man Suspected Of Shooting Father-In-Law In Cameron Park
CAMERON PARK (CBS13) – Authorities say a 54-year-old shot in Cameron Park Friday morning is expected to survive.
The scene is near Cambridge Road and Country Club Drive.
According to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, the incident looks to have stemmed from a domestic dispute situation between a husband and wife. The wife reportedly called her father, 54-year-old David Klinker, to come and help.
Deputies say Klinker was then shot by the husband, 33-year-old Joseph Hinds.
Klinker is expected to survive is injuries, deputies say.
Hinds is in custody and is being interviewed by detectives.
