First Responders Finish Mowing Modesto Man's Lawn After He Has Heart Attack

MODESTO (CBS13) – First responders made sure a Modesto man's yard work got done after he had a heart attack.

According to the Modesto Police Department, officers and a crew from the Modesto Fire Department were called to an undisclosed home in Modesto Wednesday afternoon after an elderly man had collapsed.

The responders soon learned that the man had suffered a heart attack while mowing his lawn.

Officers then snapped a picture of what happened next: The firefighters decided to finish the man's yard work for him. Since being posted on the Modesto Police Department's Facebook page, the photo has gotten almost 20,000 likes.

First responders did the same on the east coast when a Connecticut man had a heart attack while shoveling snow off his roof back in early March.

Tragically, that man died. The condition of the Modesto man is unclear.
