Clouds Clearing Wednesday, Warming To Low 80s

Happy Monday! We didn't pick up moisture in the valley, but the clouds were dramatic.

Temperatures are being affected by the clouds, causing them to decline.

Kirkwood ski resort picked up about five inches of snow, while four inches fell at Squaw Valley.

Light snow showers fell along Interstate 80 at Donner Summit where gusts topped 30 mph.

Cloud cover streaming in off the Pacific generally dropped temperatures four to six degrees from Sunday.

On Tuesday, the area to the north of our area will have rain, while we will continue to have clouds.

By Wednesday the clouds will leave our area, allowing us to heat up into the 80s. We'll top out at 84 on Friday. The Bay Area could see some shower activity.
