Vandals Hit Stockton Little League Concession Stand; Door Repairs Estimated At $5,000
STOCKTON (CBS13) — The concession stand for a Little League in Stockton was broken into over the weekend, and will need thousands of dollars in repairs.
Investigators say vandals broke into the Weston Ranch Snack Shack on Saturday night. They used a pry bar to open a rollup door and stole energy drinks and candy.
"The kids that have found out about it so far are kind of like 'Why us? Why are they taking from us?'" said board member David Steinberg.
The cash drawer was already empty, so no money was taken. But the president of the Little League says it will cost $5,000 to install a new door.
