Second Night Of Garth Brooks Concerts To Bring 30,000 People To Sleep Train Arena

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - More than 30,000 people are expected to pack Sleep Train Arena to watch the legend country star Garth Brooks perform tonight.

With two concerts in one night – at 7 and 10:30 -- traffic might not be hitting the right note with many music lovers. The parking lot of the arena will be completely filled as thousands come to see Garth.

The man whose album sales surpassed Elvis Presley's more than once and that best-selling album "Man Against the Machine" will be part of tonight's first act. Garth says he plans to play more of his older hits because that's what the fans want. In fact, the last time he was in Sacramento, in 1997, he played nine sellout shows.

Concert organizers urge those attending the 10:30 show not to arrive at Sleep Train Arena until 9 because that's when gates open.
