Fresno Woman Arrested For Allegedly Shocking People At Wal-Mart With Stun Gun

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested a woman for allegedly shocking several people with a pink stun gun at a Walmart store in Fresno.

The Fresno Bee reports store surveillance video recorded the attacks Monday evening.

A 32-year-old woman, two men ages 19 and 30, and a 12-year-old boy were among those shocked. Police say each of the victims sustained minor injuries to their backs, arms and torsos, but did not need to be taken to the hospital.

The father of the 12-year-old boy told police the attacker bit him in the chest after he tried to stop her.

After a short foot chase, officers arrested 19-year-old Jasmine Stevenson on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and resisting arrest.

Police have not identified a motive.

It's not immediately known if Stevenson has a lawyer.
