1 Person Shot And Killed At Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

Just after midnight, Monday several neighbors called 911 after hearing gunshots on Cookingham Way in Sacramento, say police.

One man was reportedly shot on his driveway, then walked back into his house and later died of his injuries.

Police do not have a suspect or motive for the shooting.

Neighbors are scared

"In front of my house on New Year's Eve, four or five people got shot -- right in front of my house. And now something like this here that's close to my family. It's ridiculous that we have to live in this environment. It's just sickening. I'm so sick of it," said a nearby resident.

Police closed Cookingham Way for the investigation which was expected to end around 10 a.m.
