Folsom Water District Received Dozens Of Water Waste Calls

FOLSOM (CBS13) — The Folsom Water District says it's received more than 90 calls in the first month they started keeping records.

The splish splash of muddy puddles has Folsom condo owner Mark Kaupe made. He says he's complained of water waste to management here, but has gotten no response.

He took his camera and shot photos of runoff in the complex parking lots, with water still standing hours after an overnight sprinkler system shut off.

A maintenance employee at the complex said he couldn't comment on the issue.

Waterford Place Management would not provide a response to Kaupa's water waste claims.

Libby Hughes lives at the complex and defended their work.

"I think once an issue is raised, it's addressed appropriately," she said.
