Boy, 17, Killed In Stockton Crash

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a 17-year-old boy was killed in a crash in Stockton early Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened near Holman Road and Bryant Drive.

According to the Stockton Police Department, officers were called to the scene just before 1 p.m. and found that a green, 1997 Acura had crashed into median, hit a light pole, then hit a tree.

Both the driver and passenger were 17-year-old boys. They were taken to the hospital, but the passenger later died from his injuries, police say.

Investigators have not commented on what may have caused the crash.

The 17-year-old driver is expected to survive his injuries.
