Van Full Of Children Crashes Near Vacaville, All OK
VACAVILLE (CBS13) – A group of children are being taken to the hospital as a precaution after a crash in Vacaville Wednesday morning.
The scene is on Interstate 505, just before the Interstate 80 interchange.
Vacaville Police say a van carrying a group of children from Chico was involved in a crash that rolled the vehicle off the roadway just after 8 a.m. The children were on a school field trip, police say.
The van's driver suffered minor injuries in the crash and all children look to be OK. However, all the children are being taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Police have not released which school the children are from.
It is unclear what exactly caused the crash.
