Police: Officers Called To Grace Davis High School After 'Several' Fights

MODESTO (CBS13) – Several fights at Grace Davis High School in Modesto forced police to show up on campus Wednesday.

The fights happened on the school's quad, according to the Modesto Police Department.

It is unclear when the fights happened, but Modesto Police announced around 1 p.m. that they had been called to the school by staff to break up the fights. Police say there were "several" fights.

Two students have been detained by police.

Police note that no weapons were involved in the fights, but two students are being treated for minor injuries.

The rest of the students have been sent back to their classrooms, police say. Officials put the school on lockdown and have since let students out early.
