Where Is Jadianna Larson? Search Continues For Missing Sacramento Girl

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The search continued on Friday for a missing Sacramento girl who was last seen on Thursday morning.

Jadianna Larson, 6, was last seen on Thursday morning at her family's apartment, but investigators say her mother's boyfriend had a medical emergency while watching her. She wasn't reported missing until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

From the tall, dry brush, to door-to-door knocks, search and rescue teams led an exhaustive effort to find Larson.

"We put up pictures and posters at our school. Right next to 47th light rail," said neighbor Bairrian Lehman.

She has a 3-year-old daughter and is one of many concerned neighbors serving as an extra set of eyes and ears for police.

"It's very disturbing situation right now," said neighbor Geneva Ran. "I've got kids. I don't know what I would be doing if I were in the situation the mother is in."

Investigators say the girl's mother left Larson with her boyfriend, and says the child hasn't been to school all week.

"His mother came to check on him, found that he had been in a medical emergency and that's when they discovered that Jadianna was missing," said Sacramento County Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Bowman.

With search efforts now moving south, her uncle Paris Stokes knows every minute counts.

"We just want her alive and healthy. We don't really care about whatever else happens," he said.
