1 Person Detained Following Grass Fire In South Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One person has been detained in connection with a fire that burned in South Sacramento on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called out to the area of MLK Boulevard and Highway 99 to fight a one-acre grass fire at around 10:30 a.m. Initially firefighters were concerned about the fire spreading to nearby apartments, but got it under control before it could spread that far.
One person has been detained. Firefighters believe the person might be connected to several other fires that broke over the weekend.
