Man Shot Inside Sacramento Home Tuesday Night

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Sacramento on Tuesday night.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. at a home in the 3800 block of 38th Street, one block east of MLK Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found the 45-year-old victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to a police department statement.

Paramedics came to the home and pronounced the man dead.

Police say detectives have identified a suspect and are actively investigating the shooting.
