Man Arrested For Allegedly Shooting And Killing Man On Broadway
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A man is in police custody tonight accused of shooting two people -- and killing one of them -- on Friday.
The shooting happened in the 1100 block of Broadway early Friday morning.
In a statement issued Saturday, Sacramento police say they arrested 30-year-old Ricky Allen Freeny. After the shooting, Freeny took off to Vallejo where he was arrested without incident.
The man died from his injuries.
Officers say Freeny knew the victims.
Freeny has been booked into the Sacramento County Jail on a murder charge.
