Body Discovered During Fire At Home Outside Of Hughson

HUGHSON (CBS13) – Deputies say the body of a man was found inside a burning house early Monday morning.

The home is along the 3100 block of Berkeley Road, just outside of Hughson. According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, firefighters were called to the home just after midnight.

Once inside, firefighters discovered the body of a man.

Detectives were called to the scene after the flames were put out. They are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire and the man's death.

The man has not been identified at this time.
