Water Will Continue To Run At California City That Was Days From Running Out
MOUNTAIN HOUSE (CBS13) — The water will continue running for now in Mountain House.

The city's sole source of water was in danger of being cut off due to a water rights curtailment.
Mountain House's sole source of water is the Byron Bethany Irrigation District, a senior water rights holder the state. On June 12, the state cut off water to the district and other senior water rights holders in the region under an emergency curtailment order.
On Friday, several water districts that fell under the order sued the state water board over the curtailment. The districts are expected to ask for a stay that will allow them to continue taking water until the issue is resolved.
