Girl, 10, Shot Outside Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A 10-year-old girl was shot on Tuesday outside of a house on Bamford Drive in Sacramento.

The shooting happened at around 2:30 p.m. where witnesses say the suspect was on foot and fired into a crowd. Two bullets hit the girl in the lower body, and she went to the hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

Investigators at the home are looking for shell casings and fingerprints, and talking to potential witnesses.
