MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (CBS Sacramento) -- Busted! Google Street View caught a man smoking a cigarette despite telling his wife he had quit.

Donny Ryding of Merseyside, England, recently suffered a heart attack and told his wife Julie Ryding that he was changing his diet.

But Julie Ryding became suspicious of her husband after finding oat biscuits in his car.

"I cleaned his car out for him and I found loads of Hobnob biscuits in there," she told the Irish Mirror. "I confronted him and he denied it and he wouldn't admit to (eating them.)"

She then says Donny Ryding stormed out of the house after being confronted.

"He stormed out of the house and then later that day we'd heard that the Street View camera was driving around," she explained to the Irish Mirror. "When I checked it online I couldn't believe it. There was no denying it now – we'd seen (him smoking.)"

The Google Street View shows Donny Ryding smoking a cigarette in his driveway.

"When Street View first launched they didn't blur out faces, but there was no need to with him. He was covered by a cloud of smoke anyway," she told the Irish Mirror.

In the end, she says the family just jokes about the incident now.

"Since it happened, we've called it Hobnob day and whenever the family gets together we laugh and joke about it," Julie Ryding said. "He did sleep on the couch that night but he took it all in good spirits and we joke about it now at family parties."

Google's headquarters are based in Mountain View, California.
