With over 26 years of experience in financial planning, Pamela Budenbender has survived and thrived through some of the best and worst economic times in our nation's history. What does your job entail?
"Acquiring, advising, coaching, teaching, and servicing my clients. I help solve their concerns that cover financial and life planning. Besides being a financial advisor, I currently have my own tax practice as well."

"Advising, coaching, and teaching!"
What was your educational history before your current position?
"One and a half years of college. I completed the CFP (College for Financial Planning) and have been a CFP since 1993. Today, you are not able to become a CFP without a degree."
Has your education helped you in your current position?
"It is more really understanding people and being a good problem solver. I believe you need to study knowledge, which is essential for your profession along with personal development courses to improve yourself."
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to pursue a similar career?
"You have to have the mind of a capitalist and a heart of a social worker."
