STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say three patrol cars crashed into each other while on their way to help search for a suspect Wednesday morning.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the incident started around 8:30 a.m. after an officer spotted a possible armed robbery suspect near Hammer Lane and Holman Road.

The crash caused of the patrol cars to flip. Three officers have been taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
