Hidden Cash Brings Hundreds To Howe Park In Search For Money

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Hidden Cash craze that kicked off last year came back with a bang on Friday as hundreds of people dug deep to find free cash at Howe Park.

They looked high and low, but the treasure hunt required deep digging. One man used tools and gloves while a woman went barehanded, hoping to get their hands on the hidden money.

The man behind Hidden Cash, Jason Buzi, hid dozens of stuffed plastic cows and Hello Kitty prizes all over Howe Park and stuck around for the action.

"I've been blessed financially, so it's just rewarding on so many levels," he said.

He does it to spread the wealth, but Buzi's act of kindness is contagious, as people looked for ways to pay it forward and match his generosity.
