1 Year Later: Napa 6.0 Earthquake
Monday marks one year since the biggest earthquake to strike northern California in a quarter-century struck Napa.
The 6.0 earthquake jolted Napa awake in the early morning hours, and was felt all over the Bay Area.
It caused $360 million in damage in Napa alone, killed one person and injured hundreds more.
During the city's commemoration of the quake today, PG&E is donating a hybrid safety electric safety truck to the city's fire department. It's a brand-new vehicle, specifically designed for emergency response, PG&E says.
The new truck will allow firefighters to plug in tools, equipment and lighting in remote areas during emergencies.
