Body Found Near Calaveras County Road
WEST POINT (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating the recent discovery of a man's body in Calaveras County.
Just after 4 p.m. Saturday, Calaveras County Sheriff's deputies were called out to a rural area of Winton Road in West Point to investigate reports of a foul order. There they found a man's body lying near the road, according to a sheriff's office statement.
The death is being investigated as suspicious pending the outcome of the autopsy.

The town of West Point is located about 60 miles east-southeast of Sacramento.
